I am over halfway to the IV needed for my first 1000 stalls; I'm pretty excited!

How long did it take you to get your first 1000 stall barn? It's been about 2 months of me savings my hbs pennies so far.

lol I buy the IVs before I can spend the hbs. I figure I need a 1000 stall barn so I can raise my daily bonus. It's not easy... especially when I want to GMT some new ponies!

I may start saving up the IV's to get my own :)

It took me over a year of playing (I joined Feb 2017) to understand how to actually play the game lol It took me until now to start doing what I know was "best". I wish I took everyone's advice in the beginning! I would have had a few 1000 stall barns already.

I have been playing for 4 years and still don't have one. I do have several medium ones. I always spend my ivs on gmts :D

I've been playing about a year and a half and still don't have one. I have six 210 stall barns for show horses, so a 1000 stall would be super useful.

I’ve been playing since February 2018
I have 26 barns, 9 pastures, and over 750 show horses.
BUT
I’ve put in a LOT of real money.
And when I added it up, that was a quick reality check for me—More than our car payment
Now I allot myself 7.50/month to save towards real money upgrades, which equals the cost of the premium upgrade.

yeah, I've spent a decent amount of RL money before. That's why I'm not allowing myself to spend RL money on the 1000 stall barn. I'm making myself stick to doing it the slower way lol I'm almost there! I just calculated it up and have a quarter of the way left. The end is in sight!

I got mine recently and there’s less than 50 stalls left in it lol.

It took about a month but I estimated it’d take 6 weeks for me. I just packed away all my show bonus and sold out my entire crop of foals which is why I hit deadline a bit early :)

I have no less than 11 thousand stall barns. lol. I do believe they have all been bought with game cash. The downside is, if I wanna buy buy another, it will cost me 10,187,500 @-) On HJ1 it will cost me even more, and I could reeeaaally use another barn over there. I will have to do some serious culling over there soon.

I've been buying and selling barns to be honest. I build up my Hbs and I buy barns with real money. Once I have enough to transfer into IVs in both I trade in my barns and that usually will do it :) of course you would need quite a lot of barns to get to that 333 iv tag.

I now pay 154% more for stalls, a 15 stall barn is 12 ivs for me and a 1000 stall is 845 ivs. The more stalls you have the more new ones cost.

That’s an interesting note about average earnings being just under 200 hb per stall per week. I wonder if that number is still the same. Now I need to go poke around my barns for a bit out of curiosity :P

eeeh...that makes me not even want to buy new stalls :O However, I guess once you get to that point, maybe 845 ivs isn't that big of a deal? It just seems unrealstic to me at this current stage (with only getting $17k daily bonus)

Lol I'm almost to 40k a day and it's still unrealistic for me. The rest of you need to stop selling pretty ponies and straws from pretty ponies. That would really help me :))

I still haven’t managed. When I start saving ivs for a barn I end up having to cash them in earlier for a smaller barn as each season I’m keeping more and more foals for show ponies.
But with a daily bonus up to 73k and growing every week I’m optimistic I may just be able to get there one day soonish.

I always like to make things a challenge when its something I like which always gives me more enjoyment and a bigger sense of accomplishment in the long run (and I guess torturing myself at the beginning is apart of it). I joined about mid April and mainly did a lot of reading and question asking, which I still do, got the basic upgrade 27 days ago and developed a strategy to my torture standards. Currently my daily bonus is 2k with my main income coming from breeding and selling at create price with the only exception allowed being I decide sell an RS that I have one of already (slowly collecting one of each that can be got still which works against my income by taking up stalls but fits my early stress bill). to start off I wont allow myself to by any IVs until I have saved enough to get the purchase ( 15 stalls which should be tonight) and have enough hbs still that I wont miss spending that money I plan to be able to repeat that in a weeks time and move to a 30 stall in just 3 weeks etc.. With doing all the math from starting my "strategy" 2 weeks ago when I only had 40k hbs I'm hoping to get my 1000 stall barn by November but no later than December, at that point I'll focus on raising my daily bonus having met my goal in a stressful way but I'll feel good about it.

I seem to have so many goals that I can't even get one of them done, then Ammit goes and has all these GMT sales and ALLL my savings go out the window :P As soon as I get myself back on my feet it will be the holidays and all my income will go to my SS... then start it all over again! One of these days I'm going to have to make myself stop GMTing and just save for things like 1000 stall barns, because my long-term dream is to be one of the big accounts and have tons of giveaways and such. This game is so consuming!! (in the best possible way of course!)

But i save for HBs and barns. My biggest is only 90 stalls.

So far I have been happy getting a 210 stall every month or two. Just now with my new barn almost half filled and breeding nowhere near over am I looking at saving for that first 1000... Chances that I will actually get it? Probably slim. XD

I only have 5 of the mega barns I think, and at least the first one was bought with real money, too many pretty ponies to save LOL!! So if I joined 5 years ago, it took me a few years I think before I bought my first mega barn with IV's!! Might be a while before I buy another I now pay an extra 73% and with all these gene sales I have so many new ponies to gmt!!

I've spent real money on one basic year, het mushroom, and hom chinchilla. I sold my hidden gates on a free account to add basic to that one. So far my daily is like 3k and I've purchased 6 barns over here. 3 15's, 2 30's, and a 60... The 60 is my earning show barn while I start filling a 15. I find that if I buy ivs every time my hbs get above 40000... Whether from auction, sales, or payday bumping me over, I can buy a barn about once a month. Some months are better than others. (Thanks Friday for the 60.) I have no idea if there is a limit on barns, but I'll keep adding till I can afford to start combining.

I’m saving up for my third 1000 stall barn here and have been putting away 100IV’s at a time.

On hj1 I have 5 1000 stall barns also each generation has its own 210 stall barn (without checking I think 6-8 - 210s)

All bought and paid for by my show horses. My 1000 stall barns are for my show horses so their own job is sit and print money. I found that by the time I filled my newest show barn with horses I could afford to by a new 1000 stall barn with the profits of my daily show bonus.

I’ve now been trying to sell off show horses on hj1 because I am trying not to buy another 1000 stall barn. I’ve reached the point I could fill it in 2 (maybe squeeze a few in the 3rd season) so would need a new barn every 2 months. With my current daily bonus I can breed all of my horses within 2 days And have 26-29 days of savings to get ready for the next month. So a new 1000 stall barn is not only achievable I could potentially buy a new one every month even with the inflation rates

It took me close to a year to get my first 1000 stall barn. Now I have 4. I am currently saving up for number 5, which I am hoping will be achieved before the next breeding season, otherwise I will be cleaning out some horses to make space to breed.

My secret was having extra real-life money and poor impulse control. XD I didn't buy my first 1,000-stall barn with IVs.

I did buy the next three with IVs, though.
