My beloved Dark Pearl is 17 this year. He is a cornerstone of my breeding program and will be greatly missed when he passes. In honor of what may be his last season, I am offering a guaranteed straw to each of the 5 highest bidders.

Dark Pearl is an A papered gen 2 stallion. He is a descendent of one of the fabled boosted Darkest Night stallions. He is a Buckskin Pearl Splash Frame Rabicano and carries satin. I will not guarantee that foals carry pearl and/or satin.

Because Dark Pearl is from a boosted line, he is very difficult to get intact foals from. If you plan to bid on these straws, I would highly recommend that you put aside several of your best gen 2 mares for him.

The auction will end at rollover between July 4 and 5. The minimum bid is 10k. You may only win one guaranteed straw. Straws must be used on gen 2 mares. Colts must paper A to remain intact. You may retain all altered foals as show ponies.
