I have this lovely lady who may carry KP and I'd like to buy some straws from KP Studs. I'd like to buy a few from several stallion so post what you've got!

This is for next season so I will be following for a few days.

She definitely carries KP because her mama is homozygous :)

I wasnt paying attention I thought she was uneven lol and since she didnt specify she was looking to breed even I figured she wasnt!

My bad, should have been more specific. I'm not necessarily looking for even but I do want a higher generation. I'm looking for straws to breed her in the future, but I will entertain the idea of buying a stallion if offered.

I'm more of a forum stalker so excuse my lack of communication skills, haha.

Confluence, I love the dapples on her! She's very unique!

I too would offer you a higher one if I had one! I do have one 3rd gen heterozygous boy who is of age but thats as high as I've gotten for quality boys!

I just checked her pedigree, she is an uneven 10th/11th gen, the closest I have is two 7th gens.

EDIT: Never mind, mine both carry Sabino and so does she. 1 in 4 chance of getting a lethal white, dead foal. Too bad, my one stallion is Satin, KP, Silver and Sabino 2. The other one carries Sabino 1 as well as KP. Both are *Star* papered.

She carries both w4 and sabino2 which really sucks since the majority of our KP boys all carry either sabino or white and anything bred to her that carries sabino1, sabino2 or any of the whites except 20 will chance a lethal foal.

Totally didnt think to check that when I offered the second gen boy.

So that definitely puts a damper on things. If youre interested in KP and dont have any besides this girl I can help you out with a mare and stallion or a mare and straws from my homozygous boy.

She is the only one I have who carries KP and I would really like to get some into my stable. So if a straw for my girl isn't going to work then my next best option is to buy one. I'm not sure how much I would want to GMT a foal I currently have who I would find suitable to breed her to.

I don't think you can GMT KP onto an upper gen foal anyway...

I'm also happy to get you some straws to a foundation stallion if you want to start from the ground up though. Alternatively I would PM Dark Star and Beadingterri and a few of the other "older" members who might have upper gen boys that would be compatible with her but perhaps haven't been very active on the forum recently.
