How do i make her... Less white?
-
So I got this amazing blue papered filly (thank you, Mr speckles!) and i suspect that she might be homozygous snowflake. The only problem is, she carries a LOT of white genes!
When I had the extra cash, I bought a token to lower her weight factor. (Wouldnt you know, I messed that up. Some nice player gifted me a token though, and I lowered her wf to none but all that happened was a few brown speckles popped up on her back.
So now Im thinking, its gotta either be the w20 or w10 that's hiding her true beauty, but I wanna check in with y'all before I do anymore work.
Could I take off her w20? If I did, how much would it cost? Would her looks change? Also, is w10 and w20 lethal when they are combined?
Here is the girl:

W20 is a white booster, so taking it off will help a lot. The chart for lethal kit genes is in the FAQ. I will see if I can find the link.Thanked by 1MariaChapinFarm3

You could only swap the w20 for Sabino 2, since the sire is hom Kit gene (one W20, one sabino 2). Swapping that should make her true color, and any possible snowflake spots, more noticeable. It will only cost one GMT token for any lined horse changes, as long as it is within the genetics of the parents on the proper allele (first allele for sire, second allele for dam).
And W20 and W10 are not lethal, otherwise you wouldn’t have gotten a live foal!Thanked by 1MariaChapinFarm3 -

Here's the bookmark I saved to the thread with the chart in it.Thanked by 1MariaChapinFarm3 -
Thanks guys!
Fallen, I'm sorry! I'm really tired lmao.
I meant the foals that she produces.. But now that you pointed it out, yeah, I don't see how it would be possible. -
Thank you cheval. I should've checked there lol
-
No worries! I was hoping it didn’t come across rude, but trust me I would make the same mistake too and have a duh moment. The W10 could cause a few problems down the road though, as it’s a bit more tricky with other kit genes (W, W2, W3, W10, M).Thanked by 1MariaChapinFarm3

Not at all, and thank you very much :) I knew that playing with KIT genes could get a little risky, but I didn't know the details of how and what lol.
-
Kit genes can definitely get messy.
-
Also remember to watch the splash and frame. They interact with the kit genes. :)
-
Yet another question; so you guys said that it would only take 1gmt to change any of the genetics that she has? (As long as the parents have it, of course.)
So could I add the s+ that she missed for 1 token, or would I have to pay full price? -
Correct, on the dam’s allele just click to make a change, and swap it to S+ for one token.
-
Sweet! Thank you so much.

If she's hom snf, you'll be able to register her in the Snowflake breeders club. :)

She has i8, so the only club I can register her in is fantasy :)
