Performance testing??
-
I did a performance test on my Nightingale and she came back with a 2.8. What does that mean exactly?
Sorry but I amon my tablet and can not figure out how to do a link from my horse to here... still new tablet to me... lolol. -
A higher PT Score means that horse will be better in the show ring. A 2.8 is a pretty low score. Your horse may still be good for breeding though.SALVISTAR PERFORMANCE HORSES

More specifically, performance test score indicates how long a horse can train before leveling off. Your horse will level off and stop training very early in her life, meaning she will level off at a very low show level, where the points rewards for doing well are also quite low. So she is unlikely to earn you a lot of points as a show horse.
As Salvistar says, she may still be an excellent mama. She may also be a dud there as well, though, so keep an eye on her! -
Ok thank you both for the info..

When I first started playing, a many long years ago (in early 2011, actually), I had a foundation mare with a PT score about the same as yours. She was an excellent brood mare and papered Red. I would estimate that she was a high red, or what would be a high Red even now. Ammit redid the papering levels several years after that mare was created. I often bred her to what would now be exceptional producer stallions because she had such good foals. She originally papered Blue, until Ammit made the adjustments and she turned out to be Red.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."
