So when I bought this stud I was told he was het snowflake (which by looking at his pedigree is true) but I bought him for his white 8 so I didn't really care about the snowflake.

Fast forward eight months. He has been a great stud and has produced many gorgeous foals and I had basically forgotten about his snowflake. So I am doing some last minute breeding, as always, and breed these two of his offspring together.

I was excited for this cross, hoping to get a liver white 8, so when he passed BA and color tested for white spotted liver appaloosa I was so happy. Then his picture loaded and I was shocked!

A cute little homozygous snowflake colt! And liver with white 8 to boot! :x I marked het snowflake on both of the parents pages and will be certainly trying this cross again next month!

Unfortunately he tested worse than sire so he won't stay on as a breeder for me but I will be posting him for forum auction to see if there are any takers. So if you are interested in him go check out his auction!
