Any interest in foundation wild Bay mare
-
I have a 4 y/o wild bay top notch foundation mare. I thought I'd offer her to anyone who has a wild Bay line before deciding to keep her for good----
Barn ID 4953 -
If you don't want her, a wild bay top notch producer or perfect foundation will always find a home with me.
-
What does a wild nay look like? Can you post a link to her?
-
I have sooty sooty wild bays, so they are far darker than most, but they aren't as red "usually" as the other days, and have hardly any black on them. Most of then are more of a bright penny color.
-
Is it just that the black doesn't go as high like on a regular bay?
-
One copy of sooty
No Sooty
Sooty Sooty DP
-
Yes, Best Friend. Wild bays have very minimal black points--only black socks instead of long black stockings and very little black in their muzzles. Wild bays color test as A+ instead of plain A and wild bay is dominant to every other bay allele.
-
Cool. They are pretty. I do have a question how is a blood bay produced?
-
Blood bays are most easily produced (in game) by adding DP to wild bay. However, adding DP to bright (no sooty) regular bays will also give you a very red horse. Below is a link to my blood bay line. If you look, you will quickly see some of my guys are really really red and others are less so...but they are all DP wild bays of some sort or another. Adding a copy of Pearl in there really seems to leach out the red!
