Chirstmas In January! *Horse Giveaway*
-
Ive noticed that Ive been a little greedy when it comes to shiny ponies, so.. I thought itd be nice to do a little giveaway. (Plus my birthday is this month, and i wanted to celebrate :p)
The limit is one entry a week, but every person that enters can get up to three horses/straws/eggs per entry. I have to wait a couple days until I get my upgrade back, so it will take me a while to put all of the horses up!

What you don't like-
A short poem or story-
Im also giving away this modified foundation. Please, don't ask for him if he will sit in your barns and not get used. He is a gorgeous horse and just isn't being utilized in my barns, so Id rather give him to someone that would love him.

What You Breed for- I breed for pearl, SNF, KP and satin
What you don't like- riding horses, bootstrapping and grey
A short poem or story- Galloping in the moonlight
A herd of horses run
Blacks, chestnuts, bays & greys
Duns, buckskin, pallies & roan
Skewbalds, piebalds & applies run with them too
After a while they stop to graze
The world sounds absent
Because the beating their beating hooves have stopped
The stallion watches over them
A magnificent blue roan & white
They all jump & play riled up by their midnight gallop
But all to soon
The sun comes up
And the herd of horses dissapear
To watch and wait
For the sun to set
So they can gallop across the lands againThanked by 1MariaChapinFarm3 -

A short poem or story-
Once upon a hay bale
I met a tall and lanky fellow.
His eyes were brown
He wore a frown
And a blanket faded yellow.
Once upon a hay bale
Laughed a new met fellow
Passed the day
We cheersed away
Oh Lord he sure could bellow
Once upon a hay bale
The sandman whispers hello
A friend I made
With hard lemonade
So I passed to him a pillow45120Thanked by 1MariaChapinFarm3 -

What you don't like- not really grey unless it is dark.
A short poem or story-
There was once a lottle filly name Cinnamon N Spice. She was a chestnut with a wide blaze. She was hurting inside because she wanted a special person to help her through her hurt.
She was scared in her face from sticks. This person that ended up with her loved her even with her troubled past.
They taught each other to trust. Their bond grew over the years. Cinnamon gave the special person a special foal named Caddo.
Cinnamon taught me to forgive the people that hurt me and with love and healing anything is possible.Thanked by 1MariaChapinFarm3 -

We're Not Ponies
By: Me
"Mommy,
Pony! Pony!"
Center of attention are we.
We are horses in mini,
We're not ponies.
Ponies are taller,
But we are a bit smaller,
We may posess the same devilish gleam,
But we're not viscious or mean.
We're not ponies.
Our hooves are smaller,
Our hearts are bigger,
Our neighs ring loud,
And boy do we draw a crowd!
But we're still not ponies.
Cars stopping,
Kids start flocking,
We hear their cries,
"Can we pet the pony?"
Yes! but we're not ponies.
Back to the barn,
We never run,
Sad to depart,
We'll be back, so never lose heart,
Cause, Minis are we!

What I like: almost anything
What I don't like: I don't chase GP, KP, Pearl, or Satin; I don't own--Ice 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, or 15, Plaid, Thunderstruck, and Wrong Warp.
We're a bit past it now, but here is my
SONG FOR THE SOLSTICE
Now the spring-tide flood of the dark has crested;
now the light begins to advance with slow steps.
Join the festive chorus that sings around us--
"Joy be triumphant."
Now the year just past with its many burdens
yields to New Year's hope for a bright beginning.
Join the optimistic refrain, renewing
wishes for concord.
Light the flames of hope in your hearts with beauty;
taste the wine of joyous and healing laughter;
breathe the pungent, resinous odor of living;
celebrate loving.
De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

A short poem or story-
Alacia silently walked through the stables. She had left her private lesson early because she had quickly got the concept being taught, and Marissa her maid had quickly noticed so and had dismissed her. Being a princess she had the convenience of a maid loyal only to her, taught her the many things that a princess needed without the influence of anyone else, and understood what Alacia actually needed. The truth was that she had already read about the subject in one of the many books in the large library in the castle, she had read tons, and tons of them. The library was one of her favorite places so she went there frequently.
Today she had been bored of the library because she had been up late the previous night, and read an entire story early that morning so she didn’t go to the library after her lesson. Not knowing where in the castle she could go she just walked – it was way too late anyway she had already ended up in the old, but very majestic stable. She wasn’t too surprised she enjoyed exploring, and the stable definitely provided plenty of places to explore. Although the main thing about the stable was that it had horses; lots and lots of horses. All of the many horses were very beautiful and perfectly put together; especially from an artist’s perspective like Alacia’s. Exactly what she needed when she had the urge to draw something.
She soon was looking around and enjoying the beautiful sight and glancing at the many mosaics and paintings of thousands of horses doing many tasks of all sorts. All of the artwork was found in all sorts of places; the ceiling, floor and walls. She was almost upset that there were no pictures whatsoever of horses being free and happy. You could look at their stance in the pictures and absolutely none of them seemed to be very happy. She then thought that they were just working hard, and if they were happy the painters would just simply leave them alone.
Soon Alacia was daydreaming up scenarios of happy horses doing all sorts of things. She quickly snapped out of her daydream when she noticed a young, white, and very much stressed, but quite a beautiful foal, which had intelligence in the gleam of his majestic eyes; although the intelligent eyes seemed to quickly go out with a wink as his panic seeped deeper, and deeper into his small eyes. She quickly hurried over to see what was going on. There was a young stable boy who was attempting to calm him not the least bit frustrated by the foal’s behavior. Almost as if this was exactly what he expected from the foal. That caused Alacia to take an extremely critical eye at the situation. OH, she realized a moment later where in the world is the foal’s mother? He is awfully young to be without his mother.
Seeing her examine the situation the boy quickly explained, “His dam died so he was left here. Nobody knew what to do with him so The King – I mean your father said to leave him out in the forest, I was just about to head out there right now with him.” He paused a long moment with a guilty but hopeful expression, “I was waiting a moment to see if I could come up with any excuse, or way to keep him.”
“I’ll take the foal, I will use milk from my cow, and I know of a few places I can hide him”, Alacia suggested. The boy was extremely quick to grin. A happy, relieved, and thankful smile that looked kind of goofy and just plain and simply ridiculous. Alacia didn’t mind in the slightest bit.
Breeder of any and all crazy colored drafts and RH horses.Thanked by 1MariaChapinFarm3 -
