Looking for Tattoo Artist
-
Hello, I am looking for someone to create a tattoo for me. I don't know what is normal to ask for tattoo wise, so feel free to tell me if I ask to much. :) I was hoping that someone could make me a tattoo that looks like a frog. Preferably a dart frog such as a golden dart frog or a strawberry dart frog. Another option is a cockatiel during flight. (A cockatiel is a type of parrot if you don't know) If those are both too hard, a red leaf, like leaves in fall, would also be nice. Or a tree in fall, half the leaves on, half the leaves flying away from the tree. If all those are to hard, please tell me so I can tell you more ideas. I will have the money soon, probably next week. Thank you to any who can help. :)
-
I can't speak for anyone else, but for me, the leaf or the tree would be the easiest. The frog I believe can be done, but it would take a while longer to get it all figured out. In my experience birds are on the difficult side. That doesn't mean someone more handy with the tattoo editor won't know how to do it!
Sadly for me, as much as I'd love to try my hand at it, my vacation has just ended so I won't be able to get to it any time soon. But keep your head up! We've got some amazing artists on here!Thanked by 1Olio900 -
Thank you.

You do realize the tattoo space is only 25 pixels square, don't you? I could probably manage one of the frogs. A red leaf should be fairly easy, and the tree with leaves might be possible. The cockatiel in flight might be more than I could squeeze into the space and have it recognizable.
Do you want this tattoo to go on the horse or would a corner tattoo be acceptable?
I would charge you 10K for the tattoo slot, plus up to 2000 hbs for the design time.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

I've done weirdly complicated animals before, but Sandy is right. It can be really tricky to make them believable. I'll give it a shot for you if you'd like - my main tattoo model is below. If you're after something like the fox or jackalope please keep in mind it's fairly time intensive, which may affect the price.
-
I do understand that and would be willing to pay up to 20k. I do not need the cockatiel, I would prefer a frog. I would put it in the bottom left or right corner.
-
Sandycreek or Denalidom- would it be possible for you to do the frog for me?
If so, please tell me so others don't start working on it. I don't want to take up others time unnesseserily. :) thanks -
I did a gecko for someone once. I can work on a frog. I may not be able to do the markings with any degree of intricacy, or I'll only be able to do part of it. Just let me finish a dragon I promised someone else first.
-
Ok, great! Tell me when you are done :)
-
I'll do a frog on spec as well. I've been giving thought to how I might make it work while I was out and about and away from the computer.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

Ok, that sounds amazing!
-
I'm done with the dragon. If you want sandy to do it, she is amazing, just let me know if you want me to get a tattoo slot to get started or not. :)
-
Before I choose, could you show me some things you have done previously?
-
Here's a Golden Dart frog, studiously ignoring the horse overlooking it. :D

It's probably freezing its poor little tropical toes off in all that snow, but I thought it would show up pretty well there.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

I often do tattoos for on horses, and I try to make those more simple to not draw the eye away from the horse itself too much. I also am new to pile drawing, so these other guys have me beat. but here are some of them. Hope the link to one of your horses is ok, Best Friend, if not I'll take it down.
I had difficulty with that one. Don't have one color lions down yet.
And here is a not on horse tattoo I just finished. Hopefully you see it before I have to take it off and send it. This took quite a bit longer to do, but I learned a lot while doing it.
-
Ow, wow, Sandy Creek! That is amazing!
-
And here's the froggy in autumn grass. He shows up pretty well there, too.

Thanks, Wildland.
And I agree with you, tattoos on horses look much better when simple and smaller rather than filling the whole square. Ammit once compared tattoos like that (the large, square, gaudy kind) to postage stamps.
A lot of my tattoos in this game that I put on horses look like the Delta Phi I put on the shoulders of my DP horses.
It shows up better in the tattoo list than it does on this horse, I'm afraid. The little diamond means "Frame."

Sandycreek, that frog is amazing! I would love to buy it. (I am assuming that you meant that to be mine, sorry if I am wrong)
Wildland, yours are beautiful as well, I just don't know if your style would look as good on the background.
Thank you to all :) -
I will put it up for you for 12,000 hbs. I was lucky and found a photo that I could fairly easily adapt to the pixels available.
Okay, you can purchase it now. You will find it in your Tattoo Registry.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

You're very welcome. I'm glad it makes you happy. I'm pretty pleased with it myself.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

Wild that is perfectly fine.
