You can post a request to be added to certain Buddy Chats. Some of them, for Limited Edition genes, are only open to people who were able to purchase the gene when Ammit offered it for sale, but there are other groups you could be added to.

I see you've requested admission to the Beginners Barn. If there are others you are interested in, I might be able to tell you who is running them, if I'm also a member.

Not that I know of. A lot of the discussions go on in the open forum. Some players concentrate on just a few things, but many of us have a little bit of everything, or at least have a wide variety of interests. I have a draft line, and a pony line, I breed for some of the Limited Edition genes and so forth. My drafts are all sorts of colors and patterns, like everything else in my barn.

Luckily, I've been playing long enough that I've managed to hoard enough pixel ponies to support my stable almost completely with the daily showing bonus. It does take quite a while to build up a stable to that point, however.

You can make a general post asking if anyone has started a Draft Horse chat room, though. That would be the best way to find out.
