Offering three straws for this lovely boy. I've been erring and ahh'ing about releasing a few straws, and would like to share the line. I'm unsure if I'll make him available after today, since he was an investment but we'll see how it goes. Auction will end tomorrow at midnight game time. I will provide replacement straws for any geld/spays since I know it's frustrating when that happens. And please keep the line in house only!

Before I bid, do I have to own a snowflake to get a straw?

It's not a restricted gene and does occur naturally in horses in the game. It's recessive though, so it needs two copies of the gene to show along with appaloosa.
So you don't need a snowflake to get a straw but it would be hard getting the gene to show unless you spend some time inbreeding.#4519 -

snowflake is a restricted gene and yes it does occur in naturally in horses in the game but its very rare :-)Celestial Performance Horses

@jezmynespice1 snowflake is not restricted. Restricted means that Ammit has specifically forbidden the sale of horses with the gene to players who did not buy the gene originally. Axiom is like that as well as some of the Ice genes.
There are some genes that players will choose not to share such as GP, KP, snowflake, satin etc, but that is because it is the player's choice not to share. I wouldn't call this genes restricted, just rare.
Sorry, I just don't want anyone to be confused. Everyone is welcome to own snowflake if they can purchase it from a player willing to share.SALVISTAR PERFORMANCE HORSES
