Because I REALLY want to and I have a Rhythm of Four colt who needs something and I probably even have the money but GUYS I'm in college and I feel like it might get wasted for a few months now and then again next fall. The colt isn't breedable until next month which is nice, but I don't really want to get distracted and addicted during finals. And as much as I want to support Ellie, I haven't even started a PayPal account in case I just start buying everything she sets out.
Edit: oh yeah, I don't actually know what Ice 5 looks like. Can anybody find it on hj1? I don't have an account. :) If I don't like it much I'll probably get 7.

I love the way that Ice 8 looks on dark horses, it is one of my absolute favorites of the Ice genes. It reminds me of frost on the windows during winter. It is the closest to Ice 13 in the snowflake design. I really like Ice 5 too, but it reminds me of snowflakes falling gently on the horses and not melting. And it looks really great too. I love my Ice horses and hope to one day have examples of each Ice gene in my stables.

Hmm, good descriptions.
I really like this gene series. I missed Ice 9 this winter, so if that comes out again I'll probably get it. If it's for sale by IV again, because that was awesome. I got ice 10 instead. :)
If axiom comes out again...Gosh. No homework would be done. :U

In Ammits Thaw sale post she has links for pictures to all the ice horses, the underlined descriptions are the links.

I haven't seen much Ice 5 around. If I were to suddenly develop a fondness for the fantasy genes it is the one I would get, if that helps! :P

I say go for it! You never know when they might be up again. Plus I believe you can always delete your paypal account afterwards to remove some temptation. And you have a sold RL year you use your boy, so even if you miss an month or two for exams you should still get plenty of ice babies from him!

Also, I found a horse on HJ1 that has ice 8 and 5 so you can see how they interact.

@Confluence, she didn't post all of the Ices, just some of them. I assume she couldn't find any HJ2 horses for the genes she just described. But thanks, it kinda helps. :)

Thanks, Lacy! So floofy. :P now I'm sorta torn between 5 and 7. And I DON'T know when they're coming back, or even if they ever will at all. :O Still going to think about it, but I'm getting closer...

Oh wait. $50? NOT Ice 7. :P

Rose every thing in blue on the big thaw post is a text link. So click the ice 5 description and it shows HJ2 horses with it.

Does Paypal have cards like Amazon does? When I first started using Amazon I would only allow myself to use a card purchased at the store. That limited my spending big time. Now, of course, I have gone far beyond salvaging my budget, and use my credit card.

The original posts has the end date on it (Feb 15th) Yes you can use prepaid cards with Paypal. :) However I can't guarantee they work for manual payments. Someone else will have to confirm.

They may never come back. I have never sold all the ice back stock like this before and several of these ice genes have never been sold before.
