Ammit has noted that their are no star papered Nexus studs. This is very sad for as long as they have been around. The quality has been poor. While I don't want to sell off my lines I do want to improve them. So I am setting up a buddy chat for those willing to follow a strick alter guidelines. I have been guilty in the past for keeping because they are pretty. This group will make sure all studs paper better than their sires and hopefully we can get a star stud. Same with mares. Really need to be able to paper good quality.
Cheers has been an amazing role model and I am gonna try and follow alot of her quidelines. 2nD generation studs must paper a B or above. 3rd generation an A or above. I am still unsure about 4g because we don't have any stars. But anything 5g that doesn't make star needs snipped. I need to go through my herd also. Mares yellows only allowed in foundation. All others must be snipped. More guidelines to come and I am open for suggestions. Must already own nexus. And we can help each other out. Let me know who wants added. Thanks:-)

So far, I've bred an A papered colt this season and he has good points , very happy with him :D

I thought the starting over thing was strictly new blood? I didnt join in (so I only saw the facebook post) because I didnt want to completely start over my nexus line that I love and have worked hard on lol. Its definitely not perfect and needs to be fixed a bit but I have straws from two of the first nexus boys saved (since one just aged out of the game and the other is 18) and a high B 2nd gen stallion that I got from Cheers a couple seasons ago so I'm improving it without completely starting over lol. My lines are always strict with papering 3rd gens are always As and 5th gens are always star anything else gets snipped. But where I flopped is keeping up with comparison testing my 4th gens because I got bogged down and wasnt focusing lol. Ive been working on going through them though and have plans of improving the whole line.

So anyway from what I gathered the new nexus horses lines aren't allowed to be shared with other nexus owners right?

Correct. I wanted to join to learn from everyone that has been with nexus for awhile. I usually have a lot of questions so that is why i wanted to join.

@hiddenvfarm, thank you. I definitely missed it with all the snow-updates I was getting. What a neat chance though! I can't wait to see how the Nexus bloodlines improve with the new blood.

darn i missed it too would have loved a new foundation as my boy is 18 yrs so wont be around much longer. I some how was deleted from one of the facebook groups had to re join the other day probable happened while i was not in group .

That is a start complete over. You have to alter all existing nexus stock. Because so many nexus are inferior. We have no star stallions in our current nexus. That's y I have started this superior group.

@ritsika I don't think they can swap blood out. Basically going to be like the axiom genes and stay in house.
