I noticed the Valentine's HH horses are labeled Era 3 even though we're in Era 4, is there a reason for that?

At first I suspected a glitch, but when I created a White Black mare, she was labelled Era 4 just fine. Sorry if this is an obvious question, I'm still new at this stuff! :)

It's because they're an exceptionally perfect foundation. I believe every single one of them are era 3, rather than 4 because of how good they are compared to original creates

So are you saying that all RS era 3 horses are Exceptionally Perfect and all the era 4 RS Horses are not Exceptionally Perfect?

Judging by the list of RS, the top one is a perfect foundation, while the bottom is exceptionally perfect.

RS foundations created during era 4 that are era 3 are exceptionally perfect. RS created during era 3 are just regular RS. You have to take into account both the birthdate and the era.

When the era in the game advances to era 5 then all new perfect or under creates will be labeled era 5 and all exceptional creates will be labeled era 4. So the current game era makes a difference also.
