Satin Carrier stud for sale

If no one shows interest in him by the 19-20 he'll be auctioned
15K PT : 10.2 B papered
Satin carrier
Genes : ee aA CprlC dd gg fF SstySsty pp saSa WF: Extensive -
It's really depressing when people vote he's to high priced at 15k when he's a satin carrier and 10.2 PT B papered if anyone wants him let me know. It's saying he'd be put up for 7500 when I paid 10K. I hate that you can vote that the price is to high I just don't get the purpose of it when we have the forum and people can message or comment and try to get the price reduced just saying.....
-
Yea it's ridiculous people vote mine down all the time even tho I paid more then I'm asking..ill buy him for 15k
-
He isn't worth 15k because he is low ability. You over paid for him sadly. He was assuredly voted down by older members who understand pricing to protect younger members from over paying like you did. Voting down protects innocent people from being taken advantage of and is far from ridiculous.

Just having satin doesn't make a horse valuable. It has to be well bred as well. Horses who are bred backward (worse than their parents) are considered badly bred. If you put him back up for 7500 I will gladly buy him and sell him back to the game for you so you get some money back. :)

Also, keep in mind that it takes more than one voter to vote your horse down off the sales board. So it's not just one person being spiteful, multiple people felt he was overpriced. I don't think anyone does it with the intention of hurting feelings or trying to get a horse knocked down cheaper so that they can buy it at a lower price.SALVISTAR PERFORMANCE HORSES

I think that voting down horses that are priced too high is a serious 'responsibility' of the community!
If we don't then the economy of the game goes SERIOUSLY wacko, and no one could afford any decent quality horses. That was one of the reasons I didn't like HJ1 WAY back when I first started (in 2008? 2009?). Gold papered mares were in the 2-300,000 range, and forget getting a breeding to a nice stallion. Just the BREEDING fees were several hundred thousand. Now, it may be that, as a newbie, I was just looking in the wrong places, and I know Ammit has tweaked the economics several times since then, but that was how it felt at the time. That's a big part of why I became so involved with Shoco/WHG, it was new, and the economy was decent for a long time. It finally went to crap too, so I make a point of checking out the sales boards now, specifically to vote down unreasonably priced horses.
I am a teensy bit concerned t how far the RS horses prices fluctuate. But I don't feel confident enough to offer any ideas about it. -
That is because gold mares were super rare at that time. They are pretty common now. All the testing options makes being a good breeding a lot easier.

I was willing to pay 15k but ok
-
I just think if you pay a certain amount for a horse and if the buyer is willing to pay what you paid then it should be ok..everyone has their own options on what their horse is worth..and I always always see expensive horses in auctions and in sales even top breeders are selling un even horses with a sasa gene for 200k I know because it happens to me several times..
-
Thanks for all the comments guys this really did help with the confusion
-
Starfire, if you're paying 200k or seeing 200k for a homozygous satin, you're paying way too much. Satin is in the GMT lab, and therefore accessible to everyone. It's expensive, absolutely. But not, imo, 200k for an uneven horse expensive.
-
A low generation sasa horse of exceptional quality (read additional rare genes and boosted) might be worth 200k, but no top breeder is selling uneven sasa horses for 200k. Those are people who don't know better, not good breeders.

To get a sasa GMT is way way more expensive then 200k hb. It's like 200$ of real money 40GMT 5$ a piece
-
No one said Satin was cheap. Just that it's accessible. I would never pay 200k for a homozygous satin horse unless it was something pretty darn special. Real money is not equal to game money. Just because I spent $200 on a gene, doesn't make the horse worth a ton of money.
