So you are at risk of losing about 12400 points that is about one third of your points so I would guess you will loose 2275 hbs of your show bonus. I would say start buying high pointers. You are at risk of losing about 8-12 horses this season

You need to continually replace your horses, as you have room, or as often as you can, or like I do, every breeding season, because they do get older and pass out of game, so in order to have/keep approximately what you have or increase what you have, keep adding show horses. I especially make sure I try to get a link to any Great Show Horse HH that comes out, and keep all my lined gelding and spayed mares, as the lined horses will do better for you in the long run (usually), but the GSH are created just for showing. I rarely keep any of them whole, if they pass test, unless I really like their color, because as a gelding or spayed mare, they get the little extra bonus in training to show.

Correct I understand that. With limited barn space how do you do that? Should I try to look through the auction and bid on them?
