Papering *still learning*
-
I really wanna learn and play the game right
Papering goes
A equal to Blue
B equal to Red
C equal to yellow
Am i right?
Idk what the star papering is equal too as i have yet to breed my own :/
Equal foundations on both sides is better??
Any advice so i understand and contribute to the game would be greatly appreciated!! -
Yes equal foundations will give you a better chance of getting an intact foals
Also star is equal to gold just don't expect that until 4th or 5th gen ;) -
So, I was just learning this the other day. Which means, this is my inaugural helping someone else moment! However, other more experienced players are welcome to correct me at any point!
I believe the *Star papering in stallions is analogous to the *Gold in mares.
And, as a general rule, equal papering levels are better to breed together if you're wanting to breed better breeding stock. When you run the breeding advice test, it's comparing the quality of the foal to the quality of both parents. If the parents are of uneven quality, the foal is likely to be better than one parent and not as high quality as the other. This will likely result in the foal being gelded or spayed.
The resulting foal might end up a great shower, though. What I've quickly learned is that there's no right or wrong way. Just ways that are more efficient to achieve one goal over another. I've done a couple mismatched breedings in terms of levels. They were neutered but are progressing quickly in training and show earnings.
Hope this helps! I can *try* to answer other questions to the best of my current ability! -
Don't forget we have an FAQ as well. :)
