I can't afford to buy Snowflake, please help
-
I'm so sad, as I can not afford to buy the GMT's for Snowflake. Is there anyone out there who could donate some of the hb's, to getting at least one copy of the gene, which will cost 2500000hb's. As I will never make it in time.
Thanks for reading ;;) -
It is 12,500hbs for 1 IV, you need 20 IV's for 1 GMT Token (250,000hbs) ...To get someone to buy you snowflake will cost you 5,000,000hbs and that is for only one copy (You need two copies of snowflake for it to show). I think you will be very hard pressed to find someone to loan you 10,000,000hbs.
I don't believe that you can even transfer that kind of money to another player.
You might have more luck asking if someone will sell you some straws or eggs from one of their snowflakes. Good luck :)♡ ID #23495 ♡

awe I'm sorry I'm in the same boat I don't even have a good horse young enough to put it on

You have no show horses (geldings and spayed mares) to speak of in your stable. This is why you're struggling for money.
You can not survive easily on breeding stock alone, people just won't pay that much for breedings.
I would suggest you focus less on pretty colors that do no difference to your income and instead focus on creating a strong show string. It takes time to do so, but once it does, you'll be making millions every week. Literally. On my main account on HJ1, I actually buy IVs on a weekly basis because I keep hitting the "cash on hand" limit. I finally realized I had an insane stack of IVs the other week, so I bought two 1000 stall barns and 30 gene modification tokens.
Start by working towards a goal of at least 50-75 percent of your herd being show stock. Don't do this all at once, just keep the foals you breed that get altered every year.
For a steady income, you'll need a show string that has a decent mix of ages and PT scores. (Don't only focus on super high PTs - those 10's can be solid little money earners too.) The need for various ages is why this takes a while, but that way you have younger stock aging up as the older stock winds down.
This is one of two ways to create a very good stream of income. The other is to just buy infusions all the time. You'll never get rich off of shiney horses, or from sales and breeding fees.
The game really rewards patience and long term planning. -
I just want to add that it's cost me $100 of my real hard-earned money to put snowflake on one horse. Goobanni and Triple Spiral make very valid points. Focus on your show ponies, build up a steady income and maybe ask some of the snowflake breeders if they are able to sell you straws/eggs :)Thanked by 1ConfluenceFarms
