Tack updates don't register in search view
-
So I've noticed this for a while, I don't know if there's a known fix for it or if it's happening to anyone else, but I thought I would mention it.
Basically, whenever I update my horses tack, or mane/tail, or background (anything from the tack tab), and then I go to a search view of all my horses (including viewing my pasture mares), the changes don't register. If I click on the horse and go to its page, the changes are still there.
I've tried refreshing my page, it doesn't help. I'd link a horse, but it literally happens to every horse. Anything I can do? -
You will probably have to sign out of the game and sign back in.

I've tried that. The only thing that seems to fix it is going to a new browser. I went from chrome to IE and the search view images were correct. Going back to chrome, the images were back to being incorrect.

I think it sometimes takes a while to update the search..?Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

I think it's something to do with how your computer stores internet images, so it's changed in the game but your computer is just using the old picture so that's what you see. I haven't worried about it too much so haven't tried, but there should be clear cache, or temporary internet files on your computer somewhere to make them reload the new imagesThanked by 1ilovepelicans

If you refresh the search page it changes the images :)
I have to do this all the time and it works for meThanked by 1kintara -
As I mentioned, just refreshing did not solve the problem.
Clearing the cache worked, thank you for your help!Thanked by 1kintara -
Signing in and out will only ever fix upgrade issues. Nothing else.
And yes it is your computer caching the images not a bug.
