Lots of color for sale! Geldings and spayed mares
-
Nothing in particular that is wrong with these horses, they just don't fit in my barns! Some foundation horses and some foals from this breeding season. I am newish to this game, I played quite some time ago, so if anyone notices I make a mistake or need to change prices please feel free to let me know so I can correct it! Also I apologize if I do not put in links correctly!

Personally, I would enter all of these horses in the public auction. The auction runs every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday and you will get a guaranteed 2500 hbs from the HJ auction bidder for any horse you enter. Make sure you enter your horses at any time before the auction starts (6 am game time on auction days), otherwise you will have to wait for the next auction day. The large majority of people who are looking for young show prospects want to purchase consistent horses with a PT of 10+. People will buy a horse that has a lower PT and/or is inconsistent if the horse has already earned a lot of points but they won't generally take that risk with young or unproven show horses.
Your best bet is to take the money you will get from auctioning these horses and spend it on older proven show horses that have already earned a lot of points or on young future show horses that are consistent and have high PTs. You can often pick up foals/2 year olds from the public auction that are consistent with PTs of 11+ for less than 3k hbs. There is no way to sort through the catalog of horses up for auction from the public auction page. However, if you go to the general search feature, you can select the option to search only horses that are up for auction. You can then choose to sort them by PT, all time points earned, points this year etc. if you are looking for show horses.
Also, I see that you are a newer player. Have you gotten your 2 free show horses from the Available to Adopt program yet? They give away quality older show horses that have lots of points in order to help new players start earning money from showing right away. -
Thank you so much! Like I said it has been awhile since I have played, so it's taken some relearning and figuring out. Thank you for the advice!
And no I have not, I tried to get the two horses but it was a confusing process for me and I just couldn't find them. I did get some good consistent horses with good PT scores, and they've bred doing pretty okay. Got some good consistent scoring foals with high PT scores (10 and above). -
All of the horses that you can choose to adopt are owned by the available to adopt account. Here is a link to all of the horses owned by available to adopt that you can choose from. Searching for available horses by tattoo is outdated because the horses are no longer owned by many different people, only Available to Adopt. There are some older horses on the list so just remember that horses can potentially age out of the game starting when they turn 18. After that, they have a chance to age out every year when rollover happens. There are some old horses in their late 20s in this game, but some horses die as soon as they turn 18. It's just random luck.

After you pick your two horses, you just send a message to @AvailableToAdopt and tell them your player ID# and the ID#s of the two horses you want. The instructions on how to contact them are still accurate, it's just the searching for available horses by tattoo that's outdated.

Actually, I think we've got the tattoo problem solved, so the tattoo search should work now.
-
Are the tattoos going to be removed from the horses who have already been adopted? One of my spayed mares I got from AtA when I joined still has the blue bow tie tattoo that says "Available to Adopt".
WF Bacon Bits S -
Sorry! I do miss them now and then! Ammit made it so that anyone can remove tattoos. AtA will send you the 1000hbs it costs to remove them.
-
I had no idea that tattoos could be removed, I was thinking they worked like microchips. Thanks for letting me know!Thanked by 1ConfluenceFarms

Yes Windward--you can find the button to mess with tattoos at the bottom of each horse's Tack page
-
Windward I love that your horse's name is Bacon Bits. That's too cute!
-
I like the name Bacon Bits too! I can't take credit for it though, she came to me with that name already and I kept it.
I removed the available to adopt tattoo from my mare. The other spayed mare I got from AtA has the heart tattoo that says adopted. Should I put that tattoo on my other AtA mare and if so how do I do that? Or am I allowed to leave her without the adopted tattoo?
This is my other AtA mare that has the heart tattoo.
WF Presidential S -
Don't worry about the heart one.
The plain blue ribbon is just for searching purposes. There are some horses that AtA has sold or auctioned that have different tattoos, as well. Leave the heart one on so AtA can search the sales and auction boards to be sure that none of the horses (usually the younger ones) have been sold or auctioned off.
