Moving from one pasture to another?
-
Hi,
Id like to move some of my broodmares from the primary to an extra pasture I bought without losing the bonus. I want to breed the right generations to each other. How do you move one from one pasture to another? -
Go to the drop box of horses eligible to be added to the pasture you want to move them to. The horses that are already in another pasture are down at the bottom of the list. They have -- in front of and after their names.I was jllewis on the old forum.

And their names are kind of greyed out

Is there a way to select more than one mare to move at a time? Or do you just have to select one mare and then click add to pasture? I switched a bunch of my mares into different pastures today and it would be a bit faster for next time if I knew how to select multiple mares at once.
-
If your mares are in barns, I find the easiest way is to click their boxes on the right and then use the Move to Pasture box at the bottom of the barn list.
If you are switching mares between pastures, you can click multiple mares at a time in the drop box described by Ondowa above. -
I've been moving them between pastures but I can't click multiple mares at a time in the drop down list. I click on a mare to select her and her name gets highlighted but when I click on a second mare, the first mare's name is deselected. It won't let me move more than one mare at a time if I'm switching mares between pastures, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

What are you playing on, Windward? I play on my iPad using Safari and don't have issues.
-
Right now, I'm on my Mac laptop and I'm using Safari. I just tried on my iPhone and it works correctly there, so I'm not sure why my computer can't do it.
-
Figured it out! For any other Mac + Safari users out there, you have to hold down the command key and then you can select as many mares as you want while you are holding down the command key.
-
Woohoo! Glad you figured that out because that would drive me batty!
-
On a Mac, you can hold the command key and click individual mares. You can also click one mare, hold shift and click another. This will select both of those mares and all in between. So, if you have six mares in a row to move, you can use "shift" to select the whole lot at once.
