Can you set up a buddy for me or how does this work?
Windward, I will locate any of my other special ranks for a trade on Fiery Fuel, and see if we can work it out. I have two mares in my pasture in my DoubleMash2 account (my warmbloods), but can I trade from that account?

You have to have a premium upgrade to create a buddy chat and I think you have to have a basic upgrade to put a horse up for sale in someone else's buddy chat. I believe a free account can purchase a horse from another player's buddy chat, they just can't add one for sale.

If you don't have an upgrade, you will have to sell/buy horses the old fashioned way. Make sure you are online at the same time as the other player, put the horse up for sale, and then the other person buys it. If you are trading horses this way, I recommend putting them both up for sale for a decent amount of hbs. As long as they both cost the same amount, you will end up trading for free in the end. If you put a horse up for public sale for less than 2500 hbs, it could easily be grabbed by a random user who is looking for cheap horses. If you are trading Rank Specials, I'd put them up for at least 10k each or more if you can. As long as the other horse in the trade is for sale for the same amount, it works out as a free trade.

@HunterUnderSaddleGirl, I'll have to think about it. I'm more interested in warmbloods and sport ponies than drafts and that mare is pretty hefty(3.18 bone). Also, are you interested in ponies? I forgot that my Stars and Stripes mare is actually a Riding Pony and not a Riding Horse when I posted her.

Would you consider a trade of this mare for one of yours? She's an Exceptionally Producing Champagne.
She's 3 years old, has a 9.6 PT and consistent.
