Lol...may be watching an episode of Say Yes to the Dress....

All tested, so that may help you see how those mares were doing. None of them papered where I would expect a gen 3 to paper, but that may be because they needed more pasture time. In any case they have a forever home in my show barn!

Ok, thank you. I hope it is pasture bonus... those were kinda bad. All of my barns have been chaos (not that they were ever very organized) and trying out a new stud.

Well....they were pretty! i will say that simply anecdotally--not a shred of actual proof to back this up--I found that new mares and new stallions often didn't perform very well in their first year at stud/brood but seemed to "get with the program" in their second year. I always was willing to give some slack if they had met my standards to keep but then had a bad year. They seemed to come good after that!

More added. 2300 apiece. Still no pasture bonus. Some uneveness, but I think all the intact ones are even. One of the studs is an A papered, another a younger one I am trying out.
