Well not right this second but I'm schedualer for an induction this Tuesday at 6am! Im excited and and so nervous/scared that I could throw up (sorry for the graphic)

Baby has been extremely small this entire pregnancy and has finally reached 5 pounds this week (at 38 weeks gestation.) Doctor wants to induce partially because I am getting close to going over my due date and because he is also worried about our health if baby hangs around to long.
As of yesterday baby was starting to drop, my cervix was at 1cm dilation, I had been experiencing headaches, back aches, Braxton hicks, nausea, and a few other symptoms. I'll spare everyone the details :))

So basically expect my absence in the few weeks to follow. I'll try to be on as much as possible to keep my horses from getting to stale though.
If I owe anyone horses or hbs or if anyone would like to make arrangements about future breeding please send me a pm

Hopefully I'll be able to post pictures, all I have is my phone so I'm not exactly sure how to post them. But I will put pics on Facebook and I don't mind sharing my Facebook so everyone can see *him*

Congratulations! I hope all goes well with both you and the baby. It's a wonderful, scary experience, as I can remember even more than 40 years after my daughter was born, but there's nothing in the world to match the wonder of watching your child grow and develop.

Some kind of false alarm HH would be awesome for April Fool's Day...maybe some gene that looks like one thing and isn't? Like maybe a horse that looks like they should have died by LWS, but that doesn't make so much sense with a foundation...

Edit: someone wasn't sure if I meant to post it here, so I'll clarify. Braxton Hicks' are false alarm contractions (which I had to look up), so what reminds us of false alarms more than April Fool's Day, what with all the pranks? I'm copying it over to that thread with all the rank special suggestions, too. :P

Babies are scary and so exciting all wrapped up in one little bundle. Best of luck lovely! I hope it goes easy and I hope he's a healthy little tot :)

Good Luck. You'll do great. Trust yourself and don't let them, the hospital, doctor, or nurses, pressure you. They are there to help you and the baby not to run the whole show. It's your show, remember that.

@roseflute I was sorely tempted to fake labor one April fools at my workplace. When I said that, my coworkers said they would had to call ambulances for everyone because they would've all fainted.

Braxton Hicks are awful. Enough said.

@ColorGoodStables Congrats! Enjoy that soft warm little head on your shoulder for me. I don't get that anymore from mine.

@Confluence Farms lol, We named our daughter Cat but totally didn't intend it that way. Just wanted a nice Irish name. Then as she got older she actually started acting like a cat. Even going to sleep on the back of the sofa.

Be careful what you name your kids folks!
