So close to getting Macchiato! 8 gmt and finally have the horse to put it on (He will have more modifications next month) I don't even have to sell my barn most likely so I will have room for next year's foals. :)

Congrats! I thought I'd like to get a Machianto but I've only gotten 6 GMT I think the deadline will pass before I reach the 10 in less I get lucky with some candy ponies.

I'm thinking of making him a grulla champagne. love the dark bay, but have a lot of those. Want to make him cool. With the Macchiato on the grulla champaign I'm thinking he will have a fun almost ethereal look to him. And then with my mares he could have quite a variety of colored foals. Call him Ruben's Ghost maybe? That will add a new flare to my naming.

Skylight, are you creating mares, breeding them and throwing them in auction? we have two more opportunities at this before breeding goes out for the month. That is how I am raising money.

I have a silver grullo tobiano and this is what she looks like. The fading of the macchiato on the base coat does look amazing. I love what it has done with her face.

Woodland yep that's what I'm doing. I used half the auction money to buy Iv's to turn into GMTs and the other half to create mares and breed them. Unfortunately with all of these awesome herd helpers, I've kept a few mares on each go around. On the positive side my showing bonus has increased quite a bit.
