@ObsidianKitsune, would you be willing to swap your Bone Fire pony mare for my Bone Fire WB mare? I want a sport pony Bone Fire mare to go with my hom KP pony Nanotech stud and your girl is exactly what I'm looking for, especially because I want to make her KP and she already has one Kit gene. That way, if we swapped you would still have a bone fire mare to give away.

This is the Bone fire mare I have, she has no living foals so she can still be GMTd.

@WindwardFarm while ObsidianKitsune has an upgrade, OpalKitsune doesn't so we'd have to be very careful about swapping them.

That account doesn't have an upgrade at all, so I can't do buddy sales :p Part of the reason why I'm doing a flash sale rather than a raffle or something like that.

@ObsidianKitsune what if you put your mare up for sale for 100k and I buy her, and then I'll put my mare up for sale for 100k and OpalKitsune can buy her? It would come out to a free trade in the end and at that price I don't think anyone else is going to snatch one.

She's heading for the public auction. Already entered actually. She was my previous show horse brood mare, and I just spayed her. Hasn't got much points for a 12 year old, but still a good amount.

Oops, I just repurchased my former bone fire mare! I wasn't even looking for the flash sale, I was just searching the sales board for cheap RS and ex pro mares. I was thinking she looked familiar but I figured that if it was the same mare I could do a giveaway and give her to someone who didn't log on that day and never got their own Bone Fire. Or I could just put her back up for 2500 and let someone else snag her.

Edit: I guess I didn't end up with her after all! Although it looks like the game still charged me for her and ParadisePark thought I ended up with her so not sure what happened there...

It looks like the game still charged me for her though and ParadisePark said that her page showed me as the owner. I got the congratulations message when I clicked to buy her as well. I checked my transactions log and it says I paid 107500 to OpalKitsune. We traded the Bone Fire mares for 100k and I got the champagne ex pro and one show horse, so that should only be 105000. I'm guessing the other 2500 is from the game charging me for the Bone Fire mare since I got the congratulations on your purchase message. Weird. I missed out on horses before but when I clicked purchase it always said something like Sorry, this horse is no longer for sale. It never charged me for a horse I didn't get lol. Maybe it's because we both clicked at the same time? Anyway, congrats to Waldgraf!

Weird, look at the mare's sale record. It says OpalKitsune sold to Waldgraf for 2500 hb's on Jun. 28, 2017.
But right underneath that it says
OpalKitsune sold to WindwardFarm for 2500 hb's on Jun. 28, 2017.

I'm thinking this should go in the bug reports section, because it really does look like the game sold the horse to both of us. Unless maybe you aren't allowed to sell a horse to someone and then turn around and rebuy it on the same day? According to the record, SpottyStud sold her to me, I sold her to OpalKitsune, then OpalKitsune sold her to me, and then OpalKitsune sold her to Waldgraf after that. Maybe the game rejected me as the initial buyer because I had just owned her, so then it sold the mare to Waldgraf instead?

That would make sense if the game rejected the sale, but there's still a bug somewhere because it shouldn't have charged both of us. @Waldgraf would you mind checking you transaction log to see if the game actually charged you for the mare? That way we know if it double charged for the horse and had us both pay, or if it just charged the wrong person and had me pay instead of you.

I'm thinking maybe hold off on that until Ammit sees the bug report. If she deals with the issue and fixes it by having your account pay me back (not sure if she'll see it since she's on vacation) then you could end up paying me back twice lol.

Should we tag Ammit in this thread or make a separate bug post? I know she's on vacation so I don't know which one would bother her less if she's trying to relax and not worry about HJ. Also @Waldgraf, I know you breed drafts so I'm not sure if you're planning on selling her since she's a WB, but if you are you may want to hold off on selling her until Ammit knows about the bug. We don't know what went wrong or what Ammit will do to fix it so I'm thinking it's probably best to leave everything the way it is until Ammit gets a chance to look at it.

Doing the @ thing pings her phone and I think it kinda annoys her, so making a bug post and waiting for her to get to it at her leisure would be best.

It's definitely a bug issue - it's happened to me before. It happens when 2 players click at precisely the same time, both triggering the game to 'sell' them the horse.

@ElementalStables, interesting! When that happens, does Ammit leave the horse with whichever player currently owns it or does it go to the player who clicked Purchase first, since the sales record does show which person the game sold the horse to first?

I hadn't yet decided whether I was going to keep her and breed up or try and trade her for a draft RS. This is all a bummer since, I know, the clock is winding down on being able the GMT her.

If it happens because the two players clicked at the same time, it seems like the order on the sales record is either random or, simply, the person who owns the horse is the default last on the list. If it was sold to WindwardFarm first, the record would have shown I bought it from them. I'd imagine the question is more about two people getting charged rather than where the horse ended up.

@Waldgraf, just so you know, if for whatever reason that mare ends up with me, I can sell her back to you for the 2500 hbs if you'd like, or I can give her away to someone who missed getting the bone fire HH and doesn't have one at all. I'm just hoping that I'll get a refund if I don't end up with the mare. This mare was cheap, but what if she had cost 50k and we both ended up clicking on her at the same time? o.O That would have been pretty bad, so I hope this isn't a common issue. It would really stink it if happened with an expensive horse.

@WindwardFarm, when it happened to me Ammit returned the horse to me and refunded the other player who'd ended up with it, since it had originally been mine (it was actually in my barn long enough for me to paper her before it suddenly went to the other player lol).

My guess is probably - the first owner is generally the one who clicked purchase first, while the second (who actually has the horse now) was the second to click, so it makes sense to give it back to the first buyer.

@ElementalStables, thanks for all the additional info! When this happened to you, did you have to file a bug report in order to have it resolved or does the game automatically alert Ammit when things like this happen?
