I pulled up the home page to log in, and to was surprised to see one of my (gelded) boys grace the page. I have not had any of my horses appear on the page when I log on before.
This was the handsome fella who greeted me...

Have you been greeted by one of your own horses?Thanked by 1supersarah -
That is always so much fun! I have seen one of my kids occasionally, or a stallion I know that someone else owns but I've admired. Or I won't know the horse but I know the tattoo. Definitely a reason to tattoo all of your ponies--so when it's just a random chestnut or something, your tattoo IDs it for you!
-
I have been thinking about a tattoo, but can't design one on my phone or tablet. My horses all look the same in grooming standards; neat braided tails, shaved manes, and halters. Yet I saw this guy, and was like "Aha!"
-
I would be happy to design a stable tattoo for you for a moderate price (cost of the slot + 1k). Maybe a pair of wings?De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

I remember the first and only time Ive ever seen one of mine and it was when Cheers saw it when she logged in and told me! I was so excited lol. I stay logged in most of the time and I dont use my phone that much to play so I dont see the home page that often. But yay for seeing one of your own!

Awesome

Oh Sandy, you would be a sweet heart! I was dreaming about an acorn with a pair of oak leaves; yet an acorn with wings could work. Something to go with my stable/breed name : Flying Stunner Oak Stables, Oakforest horses.
@Moon, I have a special ed kind of phone (Android) that boots me out once in a while, otherwise I am logged in all the time. I have seen a few of your horses when logging in (your tattoos give them away). -
That is so awesome! No I've never had that happen before :)
-
@Flying Stunner. Great idea. I will start work on it later today. The slot is purchased and waiting for me to be free enough to work on it.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

@Sandy, thank you so much! I don't mind the location of the tattoo; just not on the cheek/jaw please.
-
I never put one there myself. I think it looks weird.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

I haven't looked into tattoo locations much, but if there is one for the crest of the neck, I think I would prefer that one.
-
No, that isn't one of the available places. They can go on the wither, that's the closest. Other body locations are the shoulder, thigh, hip, cheek, or invisibly on the inner lip. Or they can be put in any corner of the image rectangle.
I'll go for one suitable for the wither.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."
