Goals for this month

    So I have a list of goals I want to complete this month and I think I will be more likely to follow them if I write them down and share them with everyone. For the month I really want to focus on boosting my show bonus. Right now it is at 2549. I am trying to be really good about entering all of my horses twice a week but specifically my show barns. So to achieve this I am cutting myself off from buying any new horses or creating any. I am going to breed my current horses but no more! I will make an exception for any RS that show up. I am going to hoard IVs and buy the biggest barn I can afford and fill it to the brim with show ponies. Feel free to share your goals for the month in the comments and we can hold each other accountable! So far I have not bought any horses but I'm sure it will get harder as time goes along!

    Those are great goals my goals are simular about building my show heard most of my foals get snipped so that helps my show bonus but I will create more horses if I have the funds :)

    My goals:

    Straighten out the tangle of horses in my Foundation barns and pastures. Stock my "good" pastures with as many PF equivalents as I can that meet my goals for those pastures. Move other mares into show pony pastures or auction pastures.

    Make a list of horses to GMT based on age, work my way down that list.

    Keep on filling show barns, both with foals from my show lines and purchases.

    Look at my appy spot size experiment foals from last season and classify them based on spot size. Extrapolate data into usable sets.

    Breed appy pastures and sort those foals.

    Breed necessary foundation pastures, test and sort foals.

    Sell excess foundation stallions.

    No more buying breeding stock unless they are RS or ExPro or similarly special until I straighten out the pastures!

    My goals?

    To get as many IVs as I possibly can. I may spend them on a barn or to change the gender of one of my horses.

    To not create or buy any more foundation horses. I have enough damn it, stop getting swayed xD

    To use the daily HH's that I dont care for so I wont be tempted to keep them and breed them to the non-colored stallions so I wont be tempted to keep them. Auction them all to build my funds up for breeding the good ones.

    Buy a few more barns and some GMT's. Buy a few high pointed show ponies.

    1. Use my Mr. Meteoric Straw on my Yule Log Mare - Done.

    2. Pop and snip my pasture foals and auction all those little suckers off. - Done

    3. Use the funds to pick up a First Snow RS Stallion I've promised to buy. - Done

    4. Breed First Snow Stallion to My First Snow Mare - Done... Foal got snipped...

    5. Use left over funds to work toward a 30 stall barn. - Done

    6. Use 30 stall barn to house show horses and use empty barns to organize intact horses. Decide who gets bred next season. - Done

    7. Change Breed Name - Aborted. Can't find a name I'm happy with.

    8. Buy 2 Additional Tattoo slots - Done

    I think that's it for this season.

    Goals:
    Breed my 200 mares and somehow cull to ten intact foals. (Rarely happens...)

    Raise money for four more GMT to finish my Maccihato boy.

    Breed Macchiato boy to something so I can see what his babies look like.

    Cull more mares.

    Try to GMT Janiero

    Try to GMT Meteoric daughter

    Fill up show barn again.

    Decide where hopper stallions will be breeding this season which include
    KP
    Macchiato - Possibly in DP flare

    Buy my one 30 stall barn to add more show horses
    Buy 2 barns to hold up and coming Classic Champagne breeders
    Buy 2 barns to hold up and coming Perlino/Cremello breeders
    Buy 2 barns to hold up and coming Silver Buckskin breeders
    Buy 1 barn to hold up and coming Pintaloosa breeders
    Buy 1 barn to hold up and coming Snowflake Appaloosa breeders
    Buy 2 barns to hold up and coming KP breeders
    Buy 2 barns to hold up and coming Macchiato breeders
    Buy 2 barns to hold up and coming Pearl breeders

    Get 12 GMT tokens to add Splash 2 and Sabino 2 to WO1 Charisma
    If possible buy 10-20 GMT tokens and hold to eventually add Kit M to WO1 Frankel

    I think that's all I need to get done this season. I might only be able to do 1 barn for those herds who need two which will be ok and I'll just buy the second one next season.
    Man now that I look at it all that is a whole heap of stuff to get done in one month.

    You guys have such great goals!

    My main goal right now is that I NEED to increase my show bonus. So focus will be on buying show ponies who have some points and can contribute immediately.
    I'm going to try and stay picky about which of my foals I keep, so I can auction off the majority of them and then use that income to buy new show ponies / barns to hold show ponies.

    Get some brown mares from my guys because I have more than enough boys .
    Get show bounds to 5000.
    Pull mares that I don't breed for out of pasture
    Buy a few barns to mares that I don't breed for in so that they can rotated into pasture to create quick cash foals.

    1. Cull mares in pastures using AFPT to free space and improve quality (mostly done)
    2. Increase barns
    3. Name last years foals
    4. Separate ExP/Boosted lines from Reg creates
    5. Improve quality of regular create lines
    6. Grow show bonus
