Wanting opinions because I can't decide

Hi guys!
With breeding season starting up again soon and Ammit so kindly sharing the Bring Back the Sun herd helper I am getting the GMT bug again, which is really not good for my bank account!! Originally I was going to sell my create, but she came out tall and already with one Kit gene, which was making me consider GM'ing KP on and a second kit gene and possibly swapping her to a he. I would keep a mare to get some homozygous G2 foals, but I already have an outside-bred hom G2 stallion in the wings and currently only 1 foundation stallion. So I feel that in the effort of diversity it would be better to have an extra stud.
Or the other option is to GM GP on her instead. I've been wanting to start a GP line and eventually add that into my KP line, and I believe that it costs the same as KP? I would have the same problem if only having the one foundation stallion, but if the aim is to add it to the KP line and I use different foundation mates that shouldn't be too much of an issue should it?
This is the filly in question :)

1) if you want specific colors in your KP line, would you need to do extra work?
2) for GP to show he/she has to express some form of Agouti.
3) yes, GP and KP both cost 5GMT per allele.
Do you really want a GP KP line??? That's so many things that have to come together to get foalsthat express both! Agouti plus double GP plus double Kit plus double KP plus non-lethal combos?
I would recommend that you pick one (GP vs KP). -
Yes if I were you I'd pick just one it sounds like hard work and lots of money to get both KP and GP to show on one horse..for me I love KP! But whatever you decide I'm sure she will look fabulous she's tall too so even better I love tall horses!:)

I love KP over GP but that doesnt mean Im not a huge fan of GP.
Since you already have KP boys I would recommend GP for your foal.
You can always get straws from other players to get a 2g KP colt from another line (or even multiple lines) to cross with your line :)
Lots of us including myself are always down to trade straws!
I do agree with the above itd be very tricky to have a KPGP line. Just because of all the things that you need for both genes to show but if youre dedicated and want to do it then definitely do it!Thanked by 1StarfireAcres -
Thank you everyone for your input! I clearly have a lot more to think about lol
I didn't realise that GP doesn't show up on black horses, I thought they just needed to be black-based (Ee or EE). I was thinking of trying to get kitM and kitTo for the KP line as I believe they aren't lethal together in most cases and I don't think kitm is lethal in homozygous form, but I will double check. I was aiming to get dark bay and buckskin in the KP line, as I'm not overly fond of the red based horses with KP. I will definitely think about this more before I commit to either, but the idea of a KPGP line is admittedly alluring lol Even if I do decide to just concentrate on one now, I can always come back to the other later. -
I think Kitm and W2 are lethal on a foal with a high white factor

And no Kitm is not lethal Hom since Ammit changed it awhile back

If you're going to do KP and GP be prepared to spend lots of money. I did a ridiculous amount of GMT work on this guy.
BH Ring Master KPGP
It will take a lot of careful planned breedings before I end up with offspring that are hom KP and GP. Personally I like to shoot for difficult pairings because it gives me something to work towards. As always, much patience will be needed.
