I thought Rhythm of 4 horses had Dp.

I wanted to add what I thought was the missed DP to her son but it wouldnt let me.

Did you try clicking on both ? buttons for the DP gene? It could also be that he already got her copy of DP. If the sire doesn't have DP, your colt could only get one copy from the dam.

He already has it.

Here is a quick search of palomino duns with 1 sooty. You can see he is noticeably darker than most of them.

From what I've noticed, the sire is usually the left hand button and the dam is usually the right hand button. You'll want to click the right hand button for DP to add from the mare. If you don't have the option, then the colt already has it!

Except you can't add Sooty because his dad doesn't have sooty.

Well guess I'll just have to live with the two darkening genes and breed him to double sooty mares.

I thought re-rolling his photo would add on some pinto markings since he's het toby but just gave him some stockings and lighter mane.

He won't get the common tobiano markings because he has White Factor:None. You can tell that he has tobiano, though, because he has the characteristic slanted stocking on his hind leg.

I only have one blue Gen2 filly but she wont be old enough for several months. I think I may cross him with the reds and see if I can get some Blue Gen3 fillies. He will be safe to breed to all patterns.

@DivineDreams It's just you/your device. His color is #e6d1a6. That is solidly orange hex range. No where close to green.

@Waldgraf It's always that way, not sometimes. :)
