I almost waited too long. Look what I found! Thanks Cheers!

A stud I admired and loved passed last rollover, and this caused me to look over the offspring I have from that boy and his half brother, Penfold's Pearl and was saddened to see I had fewer than I had thought. I then saw I still had two Penfold colts in my backlog of non comparison tested promising colts I can go through whenever I need new studs and decided to test the tenfold boys to see if they were up to par or not. The colt I liked did not test well, but there was this other guy I nearly gelded for being simple bay, but had kept because he was best in pasture. You can imagine how surprised/ relieved that I hadn't hit that button, when he tested 4th gen star!... He is 4 years old now, so I need to get busy in the GMT lab this month!
His sire being Penfold's Pearl with Dark Pearl along his paternal line, his mother being an accidental tight inbreding on Weekend Wishes his pedigree has some of my favorite faces from Cheers' old herd.

Lovely nice.

Oh he’s gorgeous! I’m so glad you didn’t geld him and that he can continue Wish, Penfolds and Dark Pearl’s lines in your herd!

Congrats! Good looking stallion.

Thanks friends! He is getting me excited about even breeding again. Have him looking more like he belongs in my barn already. Can't wait to see what he will look like finished with his parent's gene combos. :)
