So I just did an pasture of 12 under my Yule stud.
8 were colts. Only one altered. 2 papered B, so I altered the rest.
4 are 17.0 hands. :D
At least 5 are brown, and the rest might carry it. :)

Veg, I hope your girl passes her testing. She's striking! Royal, I have a quite a bit of Pearl in my wild bay line from Wet N Wild stallions. If you want I will let you have first go through the colts from that line when I get ready to cull.

I got superior A papered colts from both of my freshman Gen 2 stallions!!! Unfortunately, neither of them was this gelding....

And is anyone else suffering from colt overload? I swear 2 of every 3 foals I breed is a colt....I'm seriously filly deficient!!!!

I am getting a lot of colts also. Most were gelded, and most of the ones that weren't, will be gelded by me later.

Is that a leopard ap with nexus? Amazing! I've been avoiding paler colors because I don't like the het Nexus on them, but clearly it doesn't matter with the homozygous!

I think she's a near-leopard. Colors with lots of shading look the best - bays, creams, some chestnuts, anything with pangare.

I got a really nice first Nexus colt, he is a cutie. YAY! I closed my eyes when I clicked the buttons, but he passed all tests. I was very excited, when I only had one test left, Stallion Papering. Ahhhhh Rats! He only papered 'C.' So I gelded per his sire's owner's request. I will try again though, I still have 2 more straws left from my SS this year.

I am going to use the other two straws first, if I don't get an intact from them I will let you know. He is such a cutie, but I would have gelded him anyway, because of papering 'C.'
I have been concentrating on my GP foundation lines, so I just got to my Nexus straws tonight. I still have to go through papering with my GP colts too, and geld the ones that don't meet my standards. I am being harsh with them, and haven't had the heart to look through them yet....lol. -
Cheers, I got two intact foals from the last two straws. Thanks for the offer of replacement straws, but I think these two turned out real cute also. The colt doesn't show his Nexus, because he is perlino. But I want to see what he gives me bred to dark mares.

Introducing my new Nexus stallion! After a great deal of comparison testing and crying and shaking of fists, I have a colt who compares as good as my benchmark Gen 2. Paladin will be carrying on in his daddy's footsteps and hopefully ushering in my first crop of homozygous nexus foals.
